Halifax Wanderers captain Andre Rampersad and winger Ryan Telfer have been called up by the Trinidad and Tobago men’s national team for the nation’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Trinidad and Tobago host Grenada on June 5 and play away against the Bahamas on June 8 during in the country’s first two matches in the opening of the second qualifying round.
Placed in Group B with Grenada, The Bahamas, Costa Rica and Saint Kitts and Nevis, Trinidad and Tobago will look to be one of the top two teams in the group and advance to the third round of qualifying.
Since making his international debut in 2023, Rampersad has made five appearances for the Soca Warriors, scoring his first international goal during the 2023 Gold Cup.
Telfer has eight goals in 22 matches for country, making his debut back in 2019.
Both players will join the national team camp following the Wanderers match on June 2 against Atletico Ottawa.
