CPL joins global #FootballCares community on International Missing Children’s Day
Canadian Premier League

The Canadian Premier League and its clubs announced on Monday that it has teamed up with other footballing organizations around the world to support the International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children on International Missing Children’s Day (May 25).

The #FootballCares initiative includes more than 200 clubs from all over the globe (on six continents), including such teams as FC Barcelona, Manchester United, and Juventus, and it is organized by Serie A side AS Roma.

The campaign aims to help the ICMEC by spreading information and photos that could help reunite missing children with their families.

All eight CPL clubs have committed to participating in the initiative, and they encourage players, staff, and fans from across the league to take part as well by sharing the ICMEC’s global videos on social media.

Fans can take part by copying the Twitter link to the ICMEC’s video for Canada and sharing, or by retweeting the posts by the CPL and its clubs.
