For the second consecutive June, Halifax Wanderers head coach Patrice Gheisar has been named the Canadian Premier League’s Manager of the Month.

His Halifax Wanderers went undefeated during the month, picking up draws against league-leaders Atlético Ottawa away from home, both Pacific FC and Forge in Halifax, before grabbing their first win of the campaign 4-0 against Vancouver FC in Langley to round out June.

During the month, Halifax scored eight goals, and conceded just four, picking up clean sheets against Pacific FC and Vancouver FC.

Gheisar was also named Manager of the Month for June of 2023, and was nominated for the CPL Coach of the Year award last season. He joins Forge’s Bobby Smyrniotis (April) and Atlético Ottawa’s Carlos González (May) in earning a Manager of the Month honour in 2024.
