Wanderers announce roster for U23/Reserve Team Camp in Halifax

The Halifax Wanderers have announced the players that will take part in the first U23/Reserve camp of 2023. Participating players are either developed in Atlantic Canada and/or are currently playing in Atlantic University Sport (AUS) or Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) programs.

“We’re delighted to welcome this group of players who confirmed their availability from a wide range of clubs and colleges in our region,” Wanderers sporting director Matt Fegan said. “In particular, we are pleased to have representation from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI and Newfoundland. We’re looking forward to a high calibre of play and an opportunity for everyone to express themselves on the pitch as we look to build on a good start to the program in 2022.”

This year, the U23/Reserve team will play a minimum of six friendlies against international and national opposition between April and August. While two of these matches will be played at the Wanderers Grounds, at least four will be played outside of Halifax at other locations in the Maritimes.

Taking place in Halifax, the U23/Reserves Camp is running from Feb. 22 to 24.
