Halifax Wanderers defender Dan Nimick was named to the Canadian Premier League’s Gatorade Team of the Week for Week 20.

Nimick scored the equalizing goal for the Wanderers in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Atletico Ottawa.

Nimick rescued what could be an important point for the Wanderers at home on Saturday with the final kick of the match — a goal from the penalty spot. It was his seventh spot kick converted of the season, which is a new single-season CPL record and he now has eight goals overall. Nimick was otherwise outstanding, winning 10 of 13 duels.
