Following a 0-0 draw with Valour FC, Halifax Wanderers captain Andre Rampersad was named to the CPL Team of the Week for week five of the 2022 season.
This is the second time the midfielder from Trinidad and Tobago has made a CPL Team of the Week. A Wanderers player has cracked the list each week so far this season.
The Gatorade Team of the Week was selected by Kristian Jack from the Canadian Premier League and Oliver Platt from OneSoccer.

Andre Rampersad (HFX Wanderers)
Wanderers earned their second road clean sheet of the season and a big part of that was down to the efforts of Rampersad. The veteran midfielder controlled the middle of the park, winning possession 14 times during the match. His partnership with Jérémy Gagnon-Laparé continues to make the HFX midfield one of the most solid in the league.
