A trio of Halifax Wanderers were named to the Canadian Premier League’s Team of the Week.

Goalkeeper Aiden Rushenas and forwards Massimo Ferrina and Tiago Coimbra were recognized for their play in the Wanderers 2-1 victory over York United FC. Ferrin and Coimbra each scored for Halifax in the club’s season finale while Rushenas picked up the win in goal.

Aiden Rushenas (Halifax Wanderers)

Rushenas picked up his first professional victory on Saturday as Halifax defeated York United 2-1 at the Wanderers Grounds. He was full value for the victory, with two saves, and several key interventions, including an excellent early stop on Jorge Guzmán.

Massimo Ferrin (Halifax Wanderers)

Ferrin opened the scoring for Halifax on Saturday during another strong offensive display against York United. He also had three shots, created a chance and completed 23 of his 26 attempted passes.

Tiago Coimbra (Halifax Wanderers)

Coimbra scored the late winner as Halifax finished their season with a victory at the Wanderers Grounds on Saturday. The striker also hit the post, and had four touches in the box during a strong performance leading the line.
