Wanderers extend supporting partnership with Payworks for 2025 season

The Halifax Wanderers Football Club is excited to announce a renewed partnership with Payworks as the club’s continued provider of payroll and human resources management ahead of the 2025 season.

“Our relationship with Payworks dates back to our 2020 season, and we are thrilled to have the continued support of a Canadian-owned company that shares the same passion for community that we do,” Halifax Wanderers President and Founder Derek Martin said. “The Wanderers are grateful for the support of our fans and partners, and we look forward to welcoming Payworks back to The Wanderers Grounds in 2025.”

Payworks is a leading expert in the field of total workforce management solutions, providing cloud-based Payroll, Human Resources, and Employee Time and Absence Management to businesses across Canada.

As part of the partnership, Payworks will support the Wanderers in the creation of a multi-episode video series that highlights members of the Wanderers community. Called ‘Our Home,’ the series will document off-the-field stories of players, fans, and people who call Atlantic Canada home.

“As the country’s largest 100% Canadian-owned and operated payroll provider, we’re pleased to support the Halifax Wanderers by providing tools and service that help them stay ‘onside’ and focused on the game,” said Payworks Atlantic Region Sales Manager Craig Soontiens. “We appreciate and support their championing of our shared community and wish them a great season ahead!”

The Wanderers return to Halifax for their first home match of the 2025 Canadian Premier League season on Saturday, April 19, against Pacific FC. Tickets are available by clicking here.
