2024 Canadian Premier League regular season schedule, presented by WestJet, to be announced in full on Tuesday, Jan. 23
The excitement of the Canadian Premier League makes its return to Wanderers Grounds on Saturday, April 27, when the Halifax Wanderers welcome Atlético Ottawa in the club’s 2024 home opener. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. AT.
The Wanderers’s full 2024 regular season schedule, presented by WestJet, will be announced on Tuesday, Jan. 23.
Backed by the CPL’s largest average attendance, Wanderers Grounds was a fortress for Halifax in 2023, as the club posted a home record of nine wins, one draw and four losses. The Wanderers’ 25 home goals matched Cavalry FC for the most by any CPL club in the regular season.
Last year’s Wanderers home opener, April 29, 2023, vs. Vancouver FC, was played in front of a sold-out crowd of 6,413.
“With season tickets already hitting an all-time high plus a strong returning core players and some talented new additions, I have never been more excited to welcome our fans back home to the Wanderers Grounds,” Wanderers President and Founder Derek Martin said. “Our pop-up stadium is soon to be but a memory, so I am looking forward to making a few more fantastic memories at the Grounds in 2024!”
The Wanderers will open the 2024 Canadian Premier League season on the road with a visit to Langford, B.C., for Pacific FC’s home opener on Saturday, April 15 (8 p.m. AT). That contest is part of a three-match opening day in the league.
Fans of the Wanderers won’t need to miss a moment of the club in action in 2024 thanks to WestJet, the league’s Official Airline and Vacation Partner, who will issue an exclusive offer for travelling supporters when the full 2024 regular season schedule is announced next Tuesday. WestJet is continuing its commitment to bringing soccer fans across the country closer to the game with this limited-time offer, making it easier for Wanderers supporters to take their passion on the road and cheer on Halifax this year.
