Halifax Wanderers DND Appreciation Match

There’s plenty to take in at the Wanderers Grounds at the DND Appreciation Match.  Stadacona Band, 12th Wing Pipes & Drums, Military Static Vehicle Display, 12th Wing Shearwater and more.

Join us as we say thank you to our DND service members Saturday June 4th.

The Wanderers have joined forces with CFB Halifax and Halifax Regional Military Family Resource Centre (HRMFRC) to honour and celebrate those who serve.

Donations will be collected for HR MFRC on site and online at the button below.

Stadacona Band

Join us for a special kickoff ceremony with the Stadacona Band and Tri Service Colour Party then catch the 12th Wing Shearwater and 14 Wing Greenwood Pipes and Drums at halftime. Visit the vehicle display behind the grandstands and meet Rover with his new buds Sonar, Juno and Drummie.

Gates open at 1:30pm with Half-Price Happy Hour until 2:30pm with prizes and music by DJ Lee – Kickoff at 3:00pm.

Military Family Resources Centre

The H&R MFRC is a not-for-profit organization that supports all three branches of the Canadian Armed Forces through its centres in Halifax, Shearwater and Cape Breton.
